From the East or the West, take Sunrise Highway (27) to Exit #65 South (Hampton Bays). 
Coming off of the exit, proceed straight to the Hampton Bays Diner, getting into the left lane.
At the diner stay in the left lane, then make a left onto Montauk Highway (27A). 
Follow Montauk Highway into the middle of the town of Hampton Bays and at the second traffic light, make a right onto Ponquogue Ave. 
Go past the Hampton Bays Elementary School on the right and proceed straight to a four-way stop sign in which you will be making a left onto Shinnecock Rd. 
Go to the second stop sign and make a right onto Foster Ave. 
Follow Foster Avenue over Ponquogue Bridge to bottom of bridge which is called Dune Road. 
Turn left onto Dune Road. Keep going straight and at the Shinnecock Inlet on the left hand side is Oakland's Restaurant & Marina.
